I did a test a 500 km (approximately) driving at on average 130-140 and some higher speeds and my average was 7.2L per 100km (32mpg). I did another test driving between 90-110 km/h and some higher sppeds for 440km (approximately) and got 5.7L per 100km (41 mpg) 1. r/mazda6.

I bought mine from ebay for like $40 because at the time Rockauto did not have the part. Then google "mazda 6 cooling fan control module" and you'll find instructions on how to replace it. It's not rocket science.
